Maureen Denise McCormick is the younger daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5th 1956 in Woodland Hills California. Her father was an educator at school and her mom was mother at home. There are three brothers older than her: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick was a gifted artist and singer from an early age. She perform shows using puppets for her neighbors. In the year she turned 6years old, she won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask if the actress would be keen to work in showbusiness. McCormick was hired to star in her first major part in 1964, in an tv commercial featuring Mattels latest doll Baby Pattaburp. McCormick also starred in a commercial in 1964, for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was cast as the lead role in The Wind It up and It is Broken, a show in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected out of a crowd of over 1500 children who had auditioned to be the youngest of three towheaded daughters on the brand new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with an unintended family. The show ran for five seasons. In her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season, she was close to losing her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams. She was 16 years old when she was in the scene and he was just 19. The two of us could have been in a couple, she added. But the timing wasn't right.
