Dakota Blue Richards

Dakota Blue Richards is an English actor who has been known for playing Lyra Belacqua from the film The Golden Compass and Franky Fitzgerald as part of the third generation of actors in British teen drama "Skins'. The actress has also been in the stage, performing in stage productions of plays such as 'Arcadia' and 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. Richards is a Londoner who lived in Sussex. Richards took a couple of acting classes at the school, however she was able to take the majority of acting lessons at the weekend. The school day was shortened to go on auditions. Her first screen appearance as a performer was 'The Golden Compass. Though the film got a lukewarm response, Richards received widespread positive reviews on her acting.
